Who We Are

Founded in 1976 by Simone, Mike & CO. started from her home in St-Leonard, New Brunswick. In 1990, the business relocated to Fredericton and has remained family-owned and operated, currently by Simone's son, Mike, and granddaughter, Danika!

We are proud to have received 13 Readers Choice Gold Awards for the best bakery in Fredericton. This recognition inspires us to continue producing high-quality bread and sweets, and we are truly grateful for the support from our community.

Love this bakery! The mixed berry pastry pocket is quite possibly my favorite thing, but the turnovers, lemon tarts, and cinnamon rolls are all delicious as well. And the pricing is still so reasonable!

Cutest bakery in town!! Aesthetically adorable and when you first walk through the door you’re bombarded with a heavenly aroma! It smells wonderful. We got oatmeal cookies and a little four pack cheesecake cupcake and they were delicious!

I have been buying at Mikes for years and I am still a regular customer. Their chicken stew, home made beans and chili are the best I’ve had. Of course, their breads and pies are also part of my list.
